Welcome to the Ragsdale Collections.

I am a former New York City area event-specific paper ephemera and autograph collector.

From 1997 until 2009, while at public and private occasions a lot of the movers and shakers of today have participated in (and I helped videotape) I gathered all the event materials I could (programs, fliers, brochures, press releases, copies of speeches, etc.), and tried to secure their autographs on those same materials. Especially the program.

At certain events where could not obtain autographs, I also collected all the paper ephemera I could find to mark my presence at them.

The entire collection is sort of a paper history of everyone I worked with, met, and witnessed in action, including after 9/11.

Now separated into various categories my intentions are to write about and post images of my various collections on Hubpages.

For example:

My Oliver Sacks, Dr. Oz, Season 7 American Idols, Clinton Global Initiative, Council On Foreign Relations, Pollin Prizes, Manhattan Institute, Carnegie Council, C-SPAN/Book TV, 2004 RNC, Columbia University Medical Center- and NewYork Presbyterian Hospital-related,  and other archives;

and my seven year 9/11 Aftermath paper ephemera and autograph collection... which not only documents my unique aftermath journey, but also how the world, U.S. and NYC reacted to the terrorist attacks here.

I also intend to create several photo essays.
